What people say?

I took this course because I want to go to school in the USA. It was good practice for me because I don't get much writing practice in high school. The feedback on my assignments is given right after and is helpful.

This course is good for people to learn new words and practice their writing skills. Thanks

2
The Style of English
13:49

We'll be talking about the English style. Now, this might sound a little basic, but it's super important. This is one of those things that will help you sound more natural and more fluent when you write in English.

3
Active vs Passive Voice
10:58

Welcome back to Askademic's English Writing course. I am Alex. And today this is a little bonus lesson on extra notes for English style.

4

12:53

Okay, welcome back. This is lesson two. Today, we're going to be talking about how we can link ideas together, how we can make them flow from one to the next. Very important for making our writing sound natural and fluent.

5
Conditional Tense
07:11

This is lesson three. Today we'll be using our imagination. Specifically we'll be looking at a new kind of the phrase we can use to discuss imagined events in the past and what might have happened because of it.

Yes! Since this course is intermediate, it encompasses all important skills that are necessary in everyday life, academia, and the workplace, as well as writing rules that are in place for the English language.
Yes and no. There is no grade because grades add extra pressure and stress. You will, however, receive real, personalized feedback! This may include corrections, suggestions, and commentary on your work. If you choose to, you may resubmit your revised assignment!
A member of the Askademic team will be reading your work and will provide feedback. We do not automate this process with AI or robots because that wouldn't give the best learning experience to our students.
